Ana Campos

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Ana Campos is a yarn retailer, hand knit designer, indie dyer and tutor who now makes her home in Salem, Massachusetts. She is passionate about all things handmade and learned to knit and crochet as a child.


Ana brings more than 20 years of knitting experience to her yarn shop 'Circle of Stitches', she has a line of hand-dyed yarns 'Toil & Trouble' and also teaches workshops and classes throughout the New England area. As a tutor she likes to focus on the technical aspects of knitting and she particularly enjoys teaching Portuguese knitting in honour of her Portuguese ancestors.


She is fiercely committed to intersectionality and diversity, which she seeks to promote within her own business and she is also an inaugural member of the Vogue Knitting Diversity Advisory Council.


The Circle of Stitches website offers a wide range of yarns and notions as well as a 'Fiber Concierge', 'Online Drop In Help' and 'Online Workshops'. Her range of hand dyed yarns can be found on the Toil & Trouble website.
