Cecilia Losada

Originally from Córdoba, Argentina Cecilia Losada is acrochet and hand knit designer, blogger, podcaster and tutor who has lived in Barcelona, Spain for the last 20 years.

As the host of the 'Mamma DIY' podcast on YouTube she loves to share her crafting knowledge. Catering to both English and Spanish speaking crafters she produces technique tutorials, talks about her work and reviews new products such as books and yarns.

As a designer Cecilia's work combines influences from indigenous American culture with a boldly coloured aesthetic creating crochet and hand knit patterns for accessories like shawls, hats, sweaters, and socks. She is also able to translate patterns from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. Her patterns are available in both English and Spanish through her pattern store on Ravelry.
