Cynthia Dorrough

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Cynthia Dorrough is a hand knit designer and tutor who has been knitting for 30 years.

Her approach to teaching is to empower students to create a garment they love and to conquer any knitting trepidation. She has experience teaching classes both locally at Heart & Spirit, Atlanta and virtually via online classes covering a range of techniques: from knitting basics to sock knitting, lace, brioche, colour work and double knitting.

When not teaching, Cynthia's design work focuses on creating knitting patterns that demonstrate contrast in texture and/or colour.
