Jayalakshmi MH

Jayalakshmi (Jaya) MH is a hand knit designer based in Hyderabad, India.

She works full time as a technical consultant and in her spare time designs hand knit accessories and garments under the brand name 'Apoorva Designs'. Over the past four years, her work has been published by a number of international craft magazines and websites including I Like Knitting, Knotions.com and Yarn People.

Jaya particularly enjoys designing shawls and cowls and describes her design philosophy is to create designs that are quick, simple, preferably seamless, yet elegant knits that are as fun to knit as they are comfortable to wear.
