Joey Poh

Joey Poh is the knitwear designer behind Winter's Weather Knit based in British Columbia, Canada.

As a little girl in Singapore she was taught to knit by her Mum but having stopped for a few years she began again 12 years later as an adult in Canada as a way to unwind from the daily grind. Whilst re-learning she fell in love with the process of creating her own designs, in particular experimenting with texture and unique methods of construction. Inspiration for her patterns come from personal life events and the world around her 'each piece often with a back story emphasizing the contrast between positive and negative, light and dark, hopes and fears'.
