Jonah Faiso Larson

Jonah Larson is the young crocheting fibre artist who taught himself the basics of crochet at just 5 years of age. He believes very strongly in the therapeutic benefits of crochet and makes time to crochet every day - even at school. As the face of the Jonah's Hands brand he likes to teach other kids and adults, passing on his passion for the craft as he travels around the USA.

Crocheting is definitely Jonah's first love and he has a playful fondness for colour and texture which he uses to inspire others. He regularly shares his work, tutorials and designs on social media and keeps his huge following fascinated by the sheer speed at which he can work with a hook.

He became an author aged 11 with the release of his autobiography 'Hello, Crochet Friends!' and is already a philanthropist, raising money to build a library and science lab for the Ethiopian village where he was born.

His designs have been featured on the cover of Crochet World magazine and he's also appeared on several US talk shows where he's shared his love of crochet with the world.

In Jonah's own words: 'The fiber artist community has been there to support and encourage me along the way. The BIPOC fibre community has been especially encouraging of my work, they feel like family to me.'
