Krissy Mahendran

Krissy Mahendran is a fibre artist, tutor and the creator of A Knot Story. Based in California, USA she has been handcrafting beautiful macrame home decor and art pieces since August of 2020.

Taking inspiration from her own home environment she uses macrame to solve everyday design problems. From plant hangers and mandalas to coasters and bags, each individual piece from A Knot Story has a contemporary feel that sits easily in a variety of home decor styles.

Krissy's work can be found in private homes across the US and Canada and with an ever-expanding inventory of made-to-order pieces she loves taking commissions as they allow her to work one-on-one with clients to craft pieces that 'are unique and exceed their expectations'.

She also teaches online classes through her website and at Vogue Knitting's Virtual Knitting Live events.
