Kunbi Ayo-Okanlawon

Kunbi Ayo-Okanlawon is a knit and crochet designer who loves to create patterns that are as fun to make as they are to wear.

She first picked up both knit and crochet at the age of eight. And, although there was something of a gap from her teenage years and into her 30s she started Handmade by Kunbi in 2016 after rekindling a long lost passion for both crafts. Despite working as a publications manager in a medical communications company for her day job Kunbi designs in her spare time creating a wide range of patterns for a variety of skill levels from baby blankets to beanies, cowls to garments worked in the round. Her absolute favourite thing to knit is a sweater and her fave thing to crochet is a toss between baby blankets and cowls.
