Lisa Davis Palmer

Lisa Davis Palmer is passionate about all things craft and is the self-taught designer and owner behind Knits & Hooks.

Currently working out of her home studio in Kingston, Jamaica she started creating dolls and children's decor as a way to supplement her income after the birth of her first niece, never imagining this chosen path would lead to a full-time job as a toy maker. Feeling there was a need for more ethnically diverse dolls or what she calls her 'crochet besties' she feels that in making them, her colouring pages, books and other artworksshe creates and promotes positive imagery for little girls of colour.Her self published patterns are available to buy on both Etsy and through her Ravelry Pattern Store.
