Hand Knit Designer
Neisha Abdulla
Knitwear designer Neisha Abdulla has a degree in Art & Design as well as a degree in Language and Communication. She enjoys working with many different mediums - yarn and fabric included - and her work is influenced by the Arts & Crafts Movement with its romantic take on the natural world. Being fascinated with sculpting she draws inspiration from architecture and natural pattern forms and she feels that knitting allows her to construct with colour, in some ways bringing together sculpting with painting.
Neisha views herself as a humanitarian who likes to advocate for many causes and other than knitting and crafting, she enjoys reading, writing, music, dog walking and of course, making art.
Her accessory and garment designs have been published in I Like Knitting and can be found in her Ravelry Pattern Store.
