Roshelle Monique Anderson
United States
Originally from Southern Virginia, Roshelle Monique Anderson is an indie dyer and the owner of Queens Yarn Boutique.
A self-confessed lover of all fibre crafts, she learned to crochet as a child and is a self-taught knitter. In 2017 she started dyeing yarn because when visiting yarn shops she could never find the types of colourways she imagined creating for herself; ones that were bright, bold and vibrant.
What began as a hobby soon grew into a business that currently runs out of Wilson, North Carolina, USA where Roshelle dyes on a variety of bases ranging from 3 to 8 ply weight, naming them all after songs written by Prince. She also regularly hosts a podcast on YouTube.
